Vinyasa flow combines movement (asana) with breath (pranayama). This practice may include sun salutations, standing postures, and balancing poses. Traditionally, there is no set sequence, so teachers have more freedom to infuse their own personal styles into the practice. Vinyasa flow classes build strength, flexibility, and balance. We have both hot and not-hot vinyasa classes available.
Expect to get super sweaty—yet feel exhilaration in our Power yoga classes. This detoxing, rigorous yet accessible practice is unique in that each instructor brings his or her own interpretation of a heated practice. Power classes incorporate traditional yoga postures combined with total body strength, flexibility, and awareness. This class is practiced at a temperature of 95 degrees or higher.
Hot No Flow
Shri Hot No Flow classes emphasize longer holds, standing poses, and lower body conditioning. This style of class is a good option for anyone who wants to focus on heat building and deep breathing while keeping chaturangas and downward-facing dogs to a minimum. These classes are physically challengng, upbeat, and accessible for most individuals.
The full Primary Series of the Ashtanga Vinyasa System is a precisely designed sequence of postures linked together with the breath. Using Ujjayyi pranayama (deep breathing), dristhi (gaze), and bandhas (locks), this powerful and rigorous practice purifies and realigns the body and energizes the spirit.
Ashtanga 1/2 Primary 1/2 Second series is a led Ashtanga class welcoming all levels. Beginning with sun salutations and standing poses, you will move through the traditional forward folds, hip openers and twists of the primary series, then move onto the traditional back bending poses of the Second series.
Mysore self-practice is the traditional way of practicing ashtanga yoga. While the idea of self-practice may seem intimidating, it is actually a great starting point for those just beginning their yoga journey. Shri’s Mysore classes offer a highly personalized approach, with each student receiving expert-level individualized instruction.
This accessible and uplifting class is the perfect way to pause and refresh at the end of the day. Led by Zoe Rose Wolf, students will learn practical techniques to deepen their mind, body, and spirit connection.
This course, led by renowned instructor, Dr. Lena Kushnir, will teach you the fundamental principles and practices of living mindfully and with intention. Each session, detailed below, will focus on using mindfulness as a healing tool to help you manage stress, increase focus, enhance emotional regulation, and improve communication and interpersonal skills.
