Peggy has been a student of yoga for many years and brings a seasoned perspective to her teaching style, emphasizing alignment and the physical intention of the poses and practice. Peggy believes that yoga can benefit everyone, as it is a practice which can directly bring people joy or help them enjoy the other things they love in life. Peggy's classes are accessible for all levels of yogis seeking to continue down a path of knowledge and balance—in both mind and body.
Peggy joins the Shri teaching staff after helping to support the studio behind the desk over the past few years; she has enjoyed watching the studio grow through the welcoming spirit of all who are a part of the Shri community. What sets Shri apart from many other studios in the area is the great level of knowledge and experience present among the teachers and students. It is truly a collaborative learning environment for all to develop and grow in their practice.
Off the mat, Peggy enjoys time with her family, which includes four teenage boys, and helps to run a not-for-profit community center in Waukegan, IL.
