Yoga makes you happy, skinny, sexy, young, and, maybe even enlightened. Yoga makes your skin glow. It could make you smarter. It definitely makes you a nicer and more compassionate person. And, because yoga enraptures the mind as well as the body, yoga is superbly fun, which is why I feel a great spiritual joy emanating from deep inside myselfwhen I teach yoga. I’ve been teaching yoga for the last eight years and practicing yoga for almost 30 years. What I have discovered from these is that the more you do yoga, the more it is astonishingly and completely new. I support my yoga practice by faithfully maintaining a daily, seated-meditation practice, and I encourage my students to do so as well.
