Yoga…The Guidelines

1. Always have fun (you are supposed to be smiling on the inside or out)

2. There is no such thing as being too inflexible for yoga, wherever you are is exactly where you are supposed to be.

3. Cell phones, texting in class, loud talking etc. are not necessary during your class. You can leave electronics outside our practice space unless there is an emergency and you need it on “silent.” However, after class feel free to call and text and talk as lound as you want to as many people as you can to let them know how much you like Shri Yoga Center.

4. The “Practice Room” we try and keep as silent and respectful as possible, however we encourage you after or before your class to visit with folks and hang out in this great place!

5. Bring a mat, towel, water, wear comfortable clothes and a good attitude. We will be able to lend you a mat if you don’t have one, but definitely wear clothes…no lending on that front but some great stuff to check out in the boutique.

6. Yoga is not religious. We will not make you chant, pray to statues or kiss anyone’s feet. It is a personal journey. Peacefulness helps you in your journey back to you.

7. Be mindful of class levels, they are good guidelines. If you are not able to make the class you think is the right level, check with the front desk for any additional instruction you may need.

8. TALK TO US. We have a suggestion box for a reason. You are what makes this studio truly shine so be sure to let us know specifically if things are missing or particularly helpful.

SHINE ON SHINE ON!!!
